Neil Mobsby


BSc Pure & Applied Mathematics, University of Exeter

PGCE Secondary Mathematics, Christ Church College Canterbury

Mr. Mobsby has worked for more than 25 years in a variety of international schools in the Middle East, Africa and China as well as in the UK and has extensive experience in management and teaching. He joined SCIE in 2009 in the Mathematics Department and as Deputy Principal before 2018.

Martin Cole

Academic Deputy Principal

Applied Chemistry BSc(Hons)-Portsmouth University.

PGCE Exeter University (Secondary Science and Maths)

Mr. Martin Cole has over 20 years’ working experience in a variety of schools in the UK teaching Science and Chemistry. He Jioned SCIE in 2014 and has been the head of Chemistry before taking the role as Academic Deputy Principal. Also, Mr. Cole is an Acredited Chemistry trainer for CAIE.

Lisa Haitana

Pastoral Deputy Principal

M.A. of Educational Guidance, Hong Kong University

Graduate Diploma of Teaching and Learning,Christchurch College of Education

B.A. of History/Classical Studies, University of Canterbury, New Zealand

Ms.  Haitana has been the Head of Student Development and Leadership since 2009 in an international school in Hong Kong and joined SCIE in 2017.

Alison Huang

Non-Academic Deputy Principal

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Jinan University.

National certificated Tax Accountant Liaison Officer of Cambridge ESOL.

Alison joined SCIE in 2004 and severed as Non-academic Deputy Principal from August 2011.

She has extensive management experience in A-level examinations and parents communication.

Adam Harbinson

Assistant Academic Principal

PGCE Secondary Science University of Sussex.

BSc (Hons) in Astrophysics, University College London.

Adam has been a physics teacher for the over 10 years. He worked as the Head of Science at an international school in Wuxi before. His favourite book is  The Remains of the Day by Kazuo Ishiguro.

Greg Edwards

Assistant Pastrol Principal

MA in Educational Leadership from Edge Hill University.

BSc in Psychology & Philosophy from The University of Liverpool.

PGCE from Sheffield Hallam University.

Greg began teaching  in 2004 and held teaching and leadership roles in the UK . His last post was Deputy Headteacher in a British School in Cairo, Egypt.
